Hi chaps,

Is there either a mod or a tweak that I can do to ensure that campaign missiions always start in the day time?.

I fear that it's a random hard coded thing but if there was a mod or tweak then that would be great. It's very frustrating waiting about half an hour to load a campaign to test something and getting a night start where eveything is "black as your hat". Sometimes I get two or three night starts on the trot before I get a a day start and that wastes hours of my time when testing/tweeking.

Thanks and regards

I'm not sure; maybe by editing the last item in My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\<Your Name>\Patrols_0.cfg

Something like that:

[PATROL XXX]
PatrolNumber=0
StartYear=1941
StartMonth=1
StartDay=9
StartHour=4
StartMin=3
.....

That is how I do it SquareSteelBar, it works.

Excellent!!, thanks chaps, that'll save me quite a bit of time testing mods that need a campaign. I use MBFL for single mission mod testing and that's great.

Many thanks and kind regards

A big help thanks chaps, It's very time-consuming and tedious when testing mods such as the multi-mod compat fix or the Super Pens that require a campaign start to wait all evening for the game to load a day mission only to have to tweek something and start over again. This "little" thing can save me quite literally hours of waiting.

Best Regards

The TC limitations can be edited [e.g. for modding purposes] in My Docs\SH3\data\cfg\main.cfg... ;)
