Is there a mod that stops the continuos "ship spotted" in Stock 1.4b?
Thanks if you can help.

No, because no one has ever considered the stock version to be a problem. What you hear in stock is mild. In GWX the WO repeats "Ship Spotted" over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and...

The mod makes GWX be a little better about it.

What he said.

Keep in mind the GWX sensor modification or the 16km environment Mod making the crew better at spotting!

So the crew sees more and has the need to tell you this.:arrgh!:

Hello,

try this one:

*Open sensors.dat from Library with S3D

*find Visual, and open it {click the [+]}

*open the SensorData {click the [+]}

*go to the right part of the window and

*in SweepArc change for 0.

One more time (never will be enough) thanks to Skwas for this Tool. :rock::rock::rock:

If you want, leave a feedback. ;)

The best way is: send your I.WO to bed :rotfl2:. The other guys will not shout "Ship spotted, Sir".

But be careful where you do it - without the WO on the bridge, no one will warn you of any ship or airplane in range, including enemy vessels that have spotted you and are now bent on your destruction. It's not a bad trick when getting in and out of a friendly port, but potentially deadly anywhere else.

You might want to keep them on the bridge later in the war when the allies are in the habit of bombing your ports.:yep:
