For those of us who have Windows7 32/64bit and use Nvidia drivers read this :

* If you use nHancer 259 and have the latest driver from NVIDIA from driver 250 and up to 258-259 it's not compatible with nHancer 259 .
If you have this Nvidia driver just delete it , and go back to nvidia driver 197.xx 32/64bit
It can do something with the SHII to CTD .

If you have installed " nHancer 259 " and you notice that only " nHancer icon "
showing up at your desktop and nothing more , this is the reason :yep:
Just do as I described above and you're back in business .

NOW SINK THEM ALL :arrgh!:

I have win7 64bit and use the 197.45 driver and i stick with it.

I have read that the 250 and up driver doesn`t
spin your coolingfan very well.

and only nhancer icon showing up :damn:

I updated my Nvidia Geforce 210 driver to verson 260.99 and I had the same problem. I click on the nHancer Icon and only the small blue start up screen of 2.5.9 loads up and not the nHancer control panel so I will try this now. I am using Win7 32 bit, thanks for this thread I hope I get it to work cuz I am back to having white flashing sparkels on my horizon water line .

I removed my new Nvidia driver verson 260.99 and then I ran Detonator RIP and my Comodo registry cleaner and CCleaner and deleted the verson 260.99 folder and the Nvidia folder with Detonator RIP and verson 191.07 is not supported with my Geforce 210 series so I downloaded verson 197.13 which I thinks is what I had when nHancer was working cuz I have a Geforce 210 series video card with my Win7 32-Bit english .

Dunno why this happens
** After downloading verson 197.13 I click run and I get this error message
" Non 7-zip archive english package:error "

Hi Ivo,

Not sure why your getting that error the file is an .exe just create a temp dir and tell the d/l to extract there when it's done it will execute the install. Did you download from here

If not then do try. Else if you have a .rar then d/l winrar from here

I was finally able to get the older 197.13 driver issue working again and then I reinstalled nHancer and it said I need NET Framework 3.5 or later and I have NET Framework 4.0 so I tried to reinstall that to see if it would recognize it and didnt works. I will have to move on but it was nice for the 2 weeks I had nHancer working , SH3 looked nice last week and It looks good now except for the white flashes on the horizon waterline are back. I should have never updated even after I formated yesterday and got back my older driver LMAO.

My verson of nHancer was 2.5.9 but I cant re install it becuase it thinks my NET Frameworks is old and its new one of 4.0.
I will try the older verson but dont think it will work though.

It is finally working perfect thanks....
When I rolled back the driver yesterday it would not recgonize my NET Framwork 4.0 so I just did everthing again and changed the Mhz and color bit on the resolution but I dont think that fixed it so I dont know why but It is perfect now .
I am using the older 197.45 driver instead of the 260.99 which is what I did yesterday so dunno but today It is working so thank you for the help and this thread. Now I am going to bed at 1:00 am .....:zzz:
