Been away. Any new groundbreaking stuff?

Been away for a while and checking back hoping to see something groundbreaking such as Supermods , Escort at home harbours , Interieur mods such as more supply,s and complete crew , Correct VIIB conning tower , Correct wardroom , Band at port , Maybe even modded crew management , new ships in game etc etc. They are nowhere to be seen. I also see a decline in mods since i,ve been here last time. Apart from some great mods and the fact that all mods the are a contibution to sh-5 i,m not seeing anything that could really make sh-5 into something sh-3 was.

A lot of that is being worked on, but it takes time.
There are plenty of groundbreaking Mods released for SH5 already.
Check out TDW IRAI Mod for example the AI has gone of the charts compared to stock.
Also his latest UI Mod includes a new feature called AUTOMATION check it out on his thread.
Steelviking And Bigreg have done wonders with the Interior of the sub and have some excellent exterior effects in there Mods.
I hope to be releasing my next version of my HiDef Realism mod soon also.

I was just thinking how the modders are going about their task very nicely. Huge credit to these gentlemen.

It's a shame that Heretic's work seems to have come to a halt. Maybe another talented person will take that up?

I think in a few months time, thanks to these extraordinary efforts, Sh5 may be worth buying.

Hopefully by then UbiSoft will have cut the chains as well. . . .

Maybe that's because you haven't been here to help do it.

All of that is hard work, and modders don't do it for you, or for me. They do it for themselves, as they should.

And most of those things for SH3 took a lot longer than the six months SH5 has been around.
