Operation Monsoon has a good sinking mechanics. Don`t know about TMO, RFB or FOTRS.

Haven't tried OM yet, but heard RFB got good sinking physics but wish they made it a standalone version of their sinking physics.

RFB has good sinking mechanics which were made by Observer.

It's very difficult to have stand-alone sinking mechanics since it changes virtually everything.
All the ships need new zon files, etc. The weapons all need to be calibrated to the new model, which means that since weapons can damage ships AND subs, the sub DMs need changing.
Such a stand-alone would then need a different version for every single other mod that touches any ship, sub, or weapon.
This is the problem with virtually any "stand alone" or "pick and choose" notion of modding.
