can we put the ap and star shells back into GWX3 and see the shells when manning the deck gun?If so, how?

The ammo loads are in your basic cfg. (Back it up first please! Or make a JSGME friendly mod of it)

In it you'll see an entry that looks something like this for each gun.

[AMMO_TYPE0];10.5cm SK C/32
Idx=0
Year=1939
Month=1
AP=0
HE=60
SS=0

Noye: It may not look exactly like this. I copied this from my SH4 basic cfg, but the principal is the same.

so you think if i do that, when i man the deck gun , i'll see the the shells in which i can choose from.For example, if i want ap shells instead of hp shells i can click on the graphics menu.I ask this cause i think i tried that before and i saw no shells appear from which i can click on for loading the deck gun.I was thinking that the GWX team changed some other file so no matter what you did in the basic cfg file they still would not appear.

no, i want all shells to show up when operating the deck gun.By changing the cfg file will this happen.If not what file needs to be changed or altered?

I honestly don't recall who removed them initially but try sending a PM tp privateer, it may have been him or Ref.

In the Library,
Guns_Sub.sim,
All Amounts were set to 0 for AP and SS shells.
You need to reset those Amounts.

Someone did a fix for this.
But I don't remember who did it.
:hmmm:

And I don't know if that will allow the shells to show as selectable.
I'd think the basic.cfg change would do that.

(I didn't do the changes)

maybein silent huter 6, we will be able to choose our munitions in port. eg, 40 star shells, 20 incendiarys, 80 AP, 100 HE, and they add up to 240.

Only make the change in port.
