Smoke on the Water...

fire in the sky, besides being classic rock lyrics, I hoped there was a mod that would put smoke on the water and fire around and behind a ship, once it had been hit and set ablaze. It has always seemed a bit odd to see a ship sail on, leaving no trail oil or burning smoke filled seas as seen in so many U-boat kills; I looked but could not find one.

I was once dragged to a club in Los Angeles on the Sunset Strip by a "friend" who wanted me to see a performance art band whose entire act was playing "Smoke on the Water" repeatedly, but in different styles and versions (picture the song as a samba, madrigal, country and western song, etc.) Needless to say, I had more than a reasonable excuse to "comsume mass quantities" of spirits. To this day, if I hear the song on the radio, I either turn to another station or turn it off entirely.

Reminds me of the time I lived in Dirdrecht before the days of the Euro.....went into my AMRO bank for the first time and withdrew 3000 Guilders (3 x 1000 Guilder notes) and none of the shops would accept them in case they were forgeries :damn:
