View Full Version : Mutiny?

I think my crew is planning a mutiny. I can see the way the engineer looks at me. And the planesman keeps giving me surreptitious looks (he's not such a good actor and gives away his true intentions with those beady little eyes!). The ballast guy may or may not be in it (he may just be angry about the extra torpedo polishing details I had to give him for missing the assigned depth by 6" during the shakedown).

I don't think I'm being paranoid about it either. Now even the weapons officer is giving me sideways glances with his reptile eyes! They are just waiting for the right moment! Screw shooting Johan, he just freaked out and panicked. These other ungrateful, disloyal, bolshevik and capitalist wannabe's will be watched right back! And if they make one move, I'll tell Doenitz on them! And!... I have my Captain's pistol to take care of them! Okay, it may take me a few moments to run out of the control room and find the pistol in my bunk, but when I get back, I'll make them all think that Bligh was a saint!

I think we should stop taking recruits from Stepford.

Start to worry when you're in BE and with a full compliment of crew they claim, "Not enough crew in the diesel engine compartment!", "Not enough crew in the electric engine compartment!". B'stards just wouldn't do anything, it was all I could do to dive and surface with the current! Pistol or not, you ain't getting that tube back on your own!

Oh no.
You don't sound paranoid at all. :03:

[NOTE: I just realized I posted in the wrong SHIII forum... sorry! Um, wait a minute, let's just call this a request for a non-mutinous crew mod! *grin*]

I think I could get it back on my own! #1, my wife says I'm full of hot air enough times that I think I could surface the boat by myself. And #2, I'll row home and/or call Doenitz. I'll ask him to send a non-mutinous crew, after ratting, I mean "telling" him I didn't like the looks of my old crew!

So. You're on their side. I'll be watching you too! *grin*

When they look at me that way it's because they're afraid of me. They're worried about what I think of their performance, and don't want me to see them mess anything up.

Just pretend your Balz, and the looks they give you are unfettered adoration. :|\\

Von-E, it is good practice to first scrape the mold off of the rye bread before eating it (the bread, eat the bread not the mold). :03:

I take your drift. You're on the watch list now too!

Besides, even IF I was paranoid, it wouldn't mean they're not out to get me! *grin*

Don't be nervous until during that torpedo tube inspection..you know, the one where you have to get in to inspect the forward seal..and you hear [CLANG!] behind you ...and then the outer door opening... :arrgh!:

Better be careful, this would not be the first time that she is actually involved with them in the plot :stare:

I've already explained to her, that I know where she sleeps! And as the above reminds me, that location can easily be changed to the aft tube if I catch her making any glances at the engineer! (or the beady-eyed planesman).

Mmmmm... bubbly! And it smells much worse than the stale air in our boat.

You make your crew eat that, Capt Bligh?

Nah, I can't force-feed 50-odd crew to eat the stuff. But they know there's not enough room on deck for all of them, so it's rare that I have to play that card mid-patrol. :03:

Actually I think you'll find it's you who is on our list.

We have eyes everywhere and our numbers are growing by the day.

Watch your back.
