Renown ?

G'day all, I have one question for yas, Is there a way to increase starting renown for this game ? I know we at wolves at war use the W@W transformer to do this, But I havent found a way to do it thru the cfg files in this game.
Any ideas ? Thanks all,

its been a long time but is in your sh4 folder in your documents

find the main.cfg and under "player" you will see the default starting renown

Check the CareerStart.upc in the UPCCampaginData folder. In that file you will find a line that says RenownOptions, change or add new numbers.

You are looking for:

Data/UPCData/UPCCampaignData/Careerstart.upc.

In it you'll find renown options for each date the game will let you start a career on.

The career start UPC is also located in SH4 Documents folder. This remains the active file when the SH4 executable file is active. I have never investigated how this works for a career start. I do know that in a career, if you only change UPC lines a save file it does not survive a new mission from port. Both the UPC files in the career start and savegame folders need to be changed.

If I make any UPC changes on the Data folder I always delete the files and folders in the Documents/SH4/data/cfg except my saves and let the game rebuild them in the SH4 folder.
