My SH3 Mods folder is 3.46 G and another 500 Meg is currently downloading.
I wonder if Ubisoft has ever acknowledged the contribution made by these modders? I wonder if they have ever offered employment to these genius'?
Modders...what say you? Anybody officially thanked you or offered you a job from Ubi?

I very much doubt that anything will be said by UBISoft!:nope:
I would like to use this space to say thanks to all the Guys who have contributed to this Game, I have in a small way but in no way to the standards of the very best moders here!

I don't know whether it counts in your book, but the lead developer of Ubisoft Romania has made positive comments about "the modders" in these forums.
And BTW, the size of a mod has no relation at all to the amount of work put in. If you change one value in a 1Gb file then your mod will be 1Gb in size.
Of course they've "recognized" the modders. They gave them SH4 and SH5 to work on. :O:

And This. The contents of 16 or 40KB file can be a ton of tedious work.

Heh, SH5 will be ALOT more work for modders then SH4 was.
But back to the OP.
No, modding this crap will never land you a job at Ubi. At best, you can expect a T shirt from subsim, watch cap with the game logo, a Pen with game logo, mouse pad with game logo, and an original soundtrack CD. I did get a free copy of UBM on DVD along with all that, so i guess i can't complain. :O:
edit: BTW genius i am not. Just too stupid to know when to quit.

YES, thanks you guys for all these great mods !
YES, UBI would render thanks to all these great modders, if SH3 is always sold todays, this is due to all these talents ! (AND due to SH5 too :O:)
YES, UBI would render thanks to all the custumers who bought SH4 despite its number of troubles (at the beginning, i mean, do you remember ?) AND Ubi's behavior at that time !
YES, UBI could render thanks to all the custumers who buy SH5, which is graphically great, but insane in comparison with our old but fabulous SH3 !!
NO, since UBI's behavior with SH4 (at the beginning - many thanks too for all SH4 modders :yeah:) , I (and "we", i expect) do not buy any Ubisoft games, maybe SH5 in the futur if sh5's modders WORK give us a playable SH5 !!
So, keep going, modders, your work is greatly appreciate, :yeah::yeah::yeah:
