Tower Painting request

Hi!

I am very much into the game and I am using several mods. I would love to have one of my pictures on my tower, but I am not familiar with the modding tools. Is there anyone out there who could help me out and convert my picture to a painting usable ingame?

That should do it. Can't test it though, have to reïnstall SH5. Should work, assuming you don't have any other emblem mods.

I trust you know how to install mods with jsgme. ;)

Can a Tower Emblem be Normalized "CustomEmblem_N.dds" to give it a 3d FX?:06:

The image below would look amazing if it can be done.

Ah right, guess you mean normal mapping. I don't know if the engine allows it on those textures, but I don't see why not. Think it requires additional work though, can't say I'm familiar with the technique. :hmmm:

I'd love to try, but I am in "Mare Nostrum" and I cannot find the damn Group H nor the Aircraft Carrier anywhere. I have been searching for weeks and not a single cargo ship, hundreds of destroyers but none of them is Group H. Can't anyone just mod something in so that you can see the targets on the map? I am really tired of searching like a monkey :(

I am telling this because I need to be in port to change the tower emblem...

Just make a unique save and load one of the auto-saves in port. Give it a test, and continue your patrol. At least you know it's waiting for you at the start of the next. ;)

I did that. It works very well and the wolf looks good, although it would be much better if the inner areas would be black instead of transparent. I am trying to make a sreenshot...

Aye, can do that. Just removed the whole background, but I imagine the picture kinda blends with the tower's color. :hmmm:
