Noob alert !!!

I was wondering if there was a mod in where there would be more ships in dock. It makes me feel very lonely to find myself being the only ship while docking and leaving dock.

I know that there are mods for this but I just don't have the time to find it.

So I hope someone would post a link for this mod...

GWX has other ships in ports.

In terms of a complete game package GWX is the obvious choice :03:

If you do decide on GWX3.0 I'd suggest you grab the files from my FF account (link above my sig) because there are currently reports of faulty d/ls from the GWX website.

And your game must have SH3 Commander installed with the GWX Commander files added to be complete.

GWX adds an incredible amount to the game both in terms of gameplay and in graphics. If I could only suggest a single mod to a new guy, it would be GWX.

Jimbuna,Could the faulty files you mention be causing the CTD's I keep getting with my GWX3 and sh3cmdr. I downloaded them again the other day and proceeded to do a complete fresh install only to find after my third save game, when I attempt to load a saved game (career),it CTDs.

I downloaded the files from the GWX website and checked the with the MD5mate software so I'm at a loss to know what more I can do.

The only files I believe to be 100% (going by much feedback) are those on my FF account.

I can only repeat my suggestion you start afresh with those files.

A corrupt file can manifest itself in many ways if and when it has been installed....and that is presuming it will allow you to see the installation process through to its conclusion.

If you prefer standalone mods over monsters, you must load Harbour_Traffic_1.47.
You can find it in the downloads section here.

Well isn't that just great news. After I spent all that time downloadig GWX from their site I hear it may be corrupted....:D...just my luck.

Something I found out recently. It is possible to import the entire GWX Terrain Folder directly to 1.4b and get all those fantastic effects including the Kiel canal, traffic, milkcows and more.

I did this after installing Harbor Traffic Mod.

Should you decide to do this of course I shouldn't have to say...put your 1.4b Terrain Folder in a safe place first.:shifty: Murphy's Law is in full force.

One thing I overlooked was doing this canceled out my disable of Nets and Mines with the Harbor Traffic Mod. I came steaming full speed into Kiel Bay and killed my Watch Officer and Two Enlisted Crewman...:nope:

I didn't want the hassel of dealing with the hazzards of nets and mines...but...this experience changed my mind on this. I think i'll keep them in play. Makes life more interesting for all hands. :up:
