[req] Helmets for the gun crew?

Since there is a soldier in the Bunker wearing an M42 helmet is it possible for them to have the gun crews with them on when they are manned? especially the AA guns...

I think (without firing up the game) that the aforementioned helmets are stored in the conning tower...

It would be nice to see proper wet weather gear being donned by the watch crew when appropriate too, sou'westers and oilskins. :yep:

Maybe sometime in the not-too-distant future...

I did look at the animations and how they are done in SH5.
Adding the Helmets is do able.
Adding the wet weather gear is do able except for one thing I have not looked at yet.

In SH3 and 4 you have POS and POSR positions on deck.
POSR is of course Rain!

I've not looked to see if such a position exists in SH5
Nor if there is a different way to implement the same effect.
It's still very early as far as modding at this level.

But SH5 uses Granny now.
That changes a whole bunch of things to the good as far as animations
and modding them.

well i am at your humble service. I have no idea how to make the mod. I just don't have the skills. but it does sound promising to have it be possible
