Hey fellas,

I think someone should start working on a mod for fast sliding down the ladder. The capt should be able to close the hatch and dive when needed, not the granny old style climbing..

In TDW NewUI + TDC 2.5.0 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=166093) there is a user option that you can set so that when you click the Crash Dive UI button it will teleport you to the Radio Room, wait x amount of seconds (5 by default, again an option you can set) then initiates the Crash Dive command. So, there's already a mod that does that. :DL

If you prefer the normal way, you can either turn off that option or simply use the keyboard command which still requires you to be off the bridge, rather than moving you off the bridge for you.

Just interesting if it is possible to mod "Autopilot system" instead of teleporting :D

the script for ladder up and down should have a smaller value for time to execute or whatever..

Hold Shift while walking down ladder... use a sound mod that removes the footstep sounds and it looks like your sliding down the ladder. :03:

As I said, the amount of time delay is configurable.
