Editing menu_1024_768.ini question

Let's say that I want a certain item in menu_1024_768.ini show twice in two different places showing the same information.
For example the depth meter hand. I found the entry in menu_1024_768.ini, it is [G3 I62], copied and pasted the whole entry to a different location and changed the "Pos" values. It shows where it supposed to and moves but the original one now stopped working (it just sits glued pointing directly up).

And I thought that it would be easy... :nope:
I think it has something to do with the fact that I use the same ItemID and ParentID. If I change the ItemID the cloned one stops working and the original starts working... :hmmm:
Can anybody help me figure this out?

you also need an according entry in dials.cfg to make a dial work

I am not creating a new dial, I'm just trying the dial's hand to show up on two different locations showing the same data.

They also need to have different ID's. And yes, you also need to copy the same dial in dials.cfg. Also, the ID of the dial and Current Value is important.

This way you can create 100 dials that show the same thing on the same page.
