View Full Version : Would OldStyle UI TheDarkWraith be still working in 1.2?

Hi,

Does anybody know whether OldStyle UI 1.3.0 will still be working in SH5? I prefer the view to the NewUI TDC, especially the torpedoboard.

what in v1.3.0 is more appealing than the current version? Or should I ask what in the current version is less appealing than v1.3.0?

Strange I found this because I kinda like 1.3.1 too (used it until 1.2 patch) :) Maybe because it`s mix of both , the SH5 map style on the left and SH4 dials/gauges on the right together in one mod? SH4 style is closest to that setup so I`ll be using that when I start playing again (waiting for more mods conversions first).

Edit: TDW, could you plz link me where to find which icons shouldn`t I use in SH4 UI mod to prevent CTD?

you have a choice of UIs styles the UIs mod. You can use SH3Style, SH4Style, or SH5Enhanced. Are you aware of that? There's no reason to ever want to use older revisions of the mod.

Of course that I`m aware of that, just SH4 style CTD when I clicked on some of those icons at control panel that are not included in SH5 or is it not clear what I`m asking for? Simple info on which icons in SH4 style make game CTD... Nevermind, I look for it myself.

With 2.4.1 none of them should as far as I'm aware. The only CTDs were during early development (think, 1.3.0) and have since been fixed.

I'd highly suggest installing 2.4.1 and trying out the SH4 style if that's what you're looking for.
