Hi,
I tried to improve the crew management and figured out how the efficiency of each crew member is calculated depending on Morale, Fatigue, CoefMorale, and CoefFatigue. Now I am wondering what the Intervalx_y in basic.cfg is for. I found out the following:
Interval3_: Determines the max. efficiency you can have in a compartment (the total length of the bar above the compartment in F7 view).
Interval2_: ?
Interval1_: It seems below this value nothing works in a compartment (no repairs,...)
For the torpedoes it is obvious: Efficiency higher than Interval3 --> reload time 8 min. Efficiency higher than Interval2 --> reload time 12 min. Efficiency higher than Interval1 --> reload time 24 min. Below Interval1 --> no reloading possible. The exact efficiency in the intervals does not matter.
Does anyone know whether Interval2 has an effect on repair times? More general, does anyone know in which cases SH3 uses the intervals and in which the exact efficiency to determine how fast a task is done?
Cheers, LGN1
