It`s nice to see someone that else is annoyed by "World of Warcraft"-style skills. :) You can find some ideas in this mod (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=164996). You may use any parts of it if you want to create your own mod.

Absolutely cannot stand the current system but now at least the thing is saved on reload I can at least look at other options.
Thanks for allowing me to refresh myself with your mod. I am sure you had a good play round and also came to the conclusion that the upgrades were just way OTT.
I will also be tweaking the sub damage model and want a system in the crew management to compliment this.
It will not be to everyones liking because some people do not want to micromanage their crew but I kinda want to get to a sadististic level where the survivability of the sub depends on the effective damage management during a DC attack.
I will revise my old system and yours and see what I can whip up.

Ignore it unless you want to spend 3 days with crashes etc. It may be in there but getting them to work has been a no go for me upto now.
I have been banging on this for a fair few long days now and must have had about 1000 different settings along with a 999 incompatabilities.
I am just uploading a stable and a good crew ability mod which has room to be expanded dependant on feedback from various peoples likes and dislikes.
