How with Goblin do I adjust the Center of gravity position of the subs.

I am used to silent 3ditor where it was one easy file, opposed to this messed up jumble of crap you need to go through to load up a file to change some characteristics.

I may not have looked enough, but I can find nothing about how to change sub behavior.

Have no idea but how is the centre of gravity done in S3D ?

You'll need to merge the sim file after opening the main sub GR2.
Then adjust it like you did with S3D.
skwasjer is going to do a patch release for S3D someday to open SH5 files.

I already adjusted some S3D files to work on the zones.
And have started the same for sim, val, etc.

I tried that.

I opened the editor,
Then open the 7c GR2 file
Then open the sim.

Fail.

It is just concentrating on visual stuff, not the characteristics. I may just be blind.

Once you merge the sim file?
double click on the sim part that reads
Unit_Submarine at whatever sub your messing with.
This will pop up a new window where you can adjust settings.
After makeing adjustments save the sim file.

Remember, merge the 2nd file (the sim) on top of the gr2 file, don't open it.

Got it. Thank you all.

Hopefully I can achieve the pitch and roll I was able to get with silent 3ditor:)

I don't just change the center of gravity, I change displacements, lengths draught etc....

Look at the readme

I will release 1.3 updated for patch 1.2 in about 15 mins....

UHS?

I agree with you Mate.
Seems the shortening of mods names came from SH4 threads.
I hate acronyms and find them condescending.

I agree, lets stop using threads tags like [REL] and [TEC]... I find those threads to be condescending......

The tags seem fine to me.
But I have no idea what MMMUYTEWEDGY is.
I did enuff time in the Military.
(Oh No! I typed WEDGY! LOL!)
Not all users have a clue about stupid acronyms for mods.
If your ashamed of what you did?
By all means Acro that bad boy!
I never even bother looking at anything that has an acronym.
So how many post that I may have been able to help in have I
blown off?
:hmmm:
Don't care.
:shifty:

So when I mention TMO and GWX you would prefer it to be referred as Trigger Maru Overhaul and Grey Wolves Expansion, should just type it all out?

To be honest, I only named it UHS to be lighter on my poor old fingers.

I couldn't imagine having to type U-boat Historical Specifications every time I make mention to that mod.

There was no ill will intended........

None on my part also.
Copy and paste works well.
And it's just my thoughts which means I'm mostly babbleing.
Seems to me your doing fine Mate.
So take me with a grain of salt most times.
(The shot of Tequila helps if all else fails!)

I'm not ashamed of anything I have done in the past.
The Houston thing?
One of the best days of my life!
it was one of those
'You had to be there'
Moments.
Those are far and few between.
I'd do it all again in a heart beat!
Even blowing Neal and the fixing a Sub thing off.
That day defined me and Modding SH stuff in some ways.
