Are you using SH3 Commander? If so, did you roll it back before making any mod changes before you began the campaign? Where did you CTD, specifically!?
Yes, no since it was my first career after I change my PC. Only thing that I did before and with that mods was the academy.
CTD at the end of loading the patrol.

Did you see the black screen with "Not so long ago..." Crash after that, briefly seeing your sub...or before the "Not so long ago"?
Before the "Not so long ago..."!

If I got you right, you tried to start a new campaign from SH3 commander, started up sh3 using sh3 commander got ingame and crashed on loading?
If that's right, try this:
-Roll back SH3 commander before adding any new mods
-make your new career/ captain in SH3 commander
-Start SH3 using the start SH3 "checkmark" at the bottom
-Don't forget to select the right career and the right flotilla and start date in SH3!
-load it up and try it out...
I do that everytime. I am not a newbie:03:. But didn't understand this:
"Start SH3 using the start SH3 "checkmark" at the bottom".
Yesterday, I tried with a type VIIc, the same result!

You might have to start disabling mods and see if the CTD goes away.
Either disable all mods and check the game(probably best) and then start adding mods or start at the bottom of the list and disable, check it and move up the list.
A pain in the ass, but it may be a mod conflict. :damn:
I went thru the same thing a couple of months ago. :damn::damn:

Sharrkbit is right, CTDs at the point you were at are most often mod conflicts!
Got news! I removed the GWX - ModPack April2010 (Harbor) and the game didn't CTD!
Now, to see if open_hatch mod works with the rest!
