Hi all,

I'm not sure if its been addressed...but is there any mod available that makes the sinking a little more realistic. I hate torpedoeing a ship and having it sink 15 seconds later. I like to watch things burn and pop for a bit then sink slowly. SH5 seems to big bang, then sunk.:wah:
SH3 with GWX Gold was excellent for realistic sinkings.
Any guidance or info would be much apprciated! This sinkings seem to arcadish to me!

is it possibel to make a ship sink sideways like the famous "Flying enterprise" in the picture. I saw a mod once for SH3 that did that, could that be done for Shttp://www.24.dk/image/3513880/540x540?.cachedH5

The aforementioned BRF mod has listing ships sometimes:

I barf every time I play the game.

Do you think you are going to barf?

Well yeah, some listing, but I think he's really asking about capsizing. It requires some work, but I might get something satisfactory with a sufficient amount of elbow grease... maybe a few child-sacrifices, but I'll leave that optional for the moment. :hmm2:

At any rate, waiting for that patch, we'll see after that. :)

Still, as far as I know, capsizing was rare, at least for merchants.

Correct however hravy listing and capsizing were common on navy ships due to their design. Plus its better to be rare than to never happen like SH5 ;)

Combat vessels, yes. But those have significantly more structure above the waterline. :hmmm:

I'll see about the warships, but I don't see it happening for the merchants without redesigning the whole zone-structure. :-?

Go for complete realism and shorten the load, make it so only combat vessels capsize :)

I just want to be back in the good old days when i was tormenting a lone battleship by splashing single but accurate torps along its side delibrately making it capsize for a scenematic view :arrgh!:

Yes i am demented. :rotfl2:

then that makes 2 of us :D Except I would shell the side of the ship right below the waterline to make this happen (merchant or warship).
