Changed and additional harbours
The play engine of SH5 pulls to the representation of the harbours in the Map all necessary data from the Common.mis in which also the data of the ships located in the harbours are filed, also all data of the normal ship traffic etc.
Up to now two Mods provided by me data change in this Common.mis:
[REL]Rename Heligoland to Helgoland (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=166473)
as well as
[REL] Brunsbüttel_Mod (http://forums-de.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1151033738/m/6801066458).
For Brunsbuttel I have uploaded an update on v1.1 which also changes the Common.mis in all CampaignProjects.
Finished:
[REL] Calais_Mod (http://forums-de.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1151033738/m/3661097558).
Because to provide level even other harbours I and there add, I bring together these Threads here, however, above all, for reason that these Mods substitute for the Common.mis of the before provided one. Besides, is also with other Mods which change the Common.mis to pay attention to the fact that if necessary data of another Mods are headlined.
Also changes of the Common.mis only at the beginning of a new career become visible!
Consequently for my other work on the harbours, I will use only this Thread.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bug-fixed on v1.21, 19.07.2010:
A mistake in the campaign is repaired which could lead to the CTD if one is by the boat near the island Fehmarn.
The announcement of the Map is corrected, here an ugly blue circle was to be seen around the mission purpose which has disappeared now again.

Have you attached the harbours to the coast without changing the terrain? If so and you terrain changes wanted I can do step by step for these harbours.
Also for the harbours of Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo.

So far I am at the moment with Calais:

It is not final yet, I would like to change the textures and the size of the city, still.
To see as on the second Screen, I must also still repair the old place.

Like me sees you have Kirkenes and Tromso ready. Will you go on working on Norwegian harbours, so also Stavanger, Oslo and Kristiansand provide, or should I do this?
By the change of Calais, I have taken into consideration in the Common.mis also the German occupying time accordingly.
You have written in a post that you do this just with all French and Dutch cities; I will likewise do this in my Common.mis, you need this if you should take over mine, change not once again.
I have found out that some flags do not exist in the texture folder, as well as in flag.dat, thus, e.g., the Spanish, Belgian, Mexican etc.
Hence, I will insert this in fag.dat and provide with the Calais-Mod.

The Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod has become from me releast, among the rest, he contains a SH5-flag.dat enlarged by 29 flags which differs more Frames from in SH4 and SH3 used flag.dat basically by the model richer in detail, as well as 4-spot. You find other details to the Mod here (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1373893&postcount=1).

At the moment I provide an update, in it will be contained various additional harbours:
Norway: Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo
Sweden: Götheborg, Malmö, Karlskrona and Stockholm
Finland: Helsinki
Russia: Leningrad and Kronstadt
Estonia: Tallinn
Latvia: Riga and Libau
German: Memel, Swinemünde, Stralsund, Rostock and Wismar
Belgium: Antwerpen
France: Bologne-sur-Mer and Cherbourg
Spain: Bilbao, Stavanger, Gijon, Ferrol, A Coruna, Vigo, Cadiz, San Fernando, Tanger, Ceuta, Melilla, Algeciras and Cartagena

This work looks great, I watch with avid interest. Does it include lowering the harbours? The 3D harbour models in Stock SH5 are all approx 3 meters too high I think.

Yes, many harbours are too high, because with the insertion of the model it was not respected to the delicacies.
The terrain would have had to be adapted.
HanSolo78 had taken care of the thing, indeed, his work seems to rest. Here his Thread:

I stand before a riddle.
Maybe you can help.
I have inserted in the campaign about the Common mis new harbours.
With the test struck me that in the Map not all harbours (anchor symbol) are indicated.
I already deal several hours with it, have studied all possible files, but till present I have not risen yet behind it, why the engine indicates only certain harbours and other not.

These harbours are an exit of the Traffic in the Indian ocean.
With the development of the campaign in SH5 we stand only at the beginning.
I think that it is possible to let take place single missions 1942/43/44 also in the Indian ocean.

No, the Vanilla career is not thereby stopped. With the start of the new career merely the changes are activated. Otherwise everything runs as had, however, with more intensive ship traffic and more harbours.

Hallo Thfeu,

WELCOME ABOARD! :sunny:
Why thank you my good sir! Glad to be aboard.
I've been scurrying around these forums for a while and decided to make an appearence today as I happened to be thinking of paying a visit to my Japanese allies, alas and alack, there were no ports along the way and I'm quite sure the crew would be nagging and somewhere along the South American coast we'd see the 1939 version of the Potemkin uprising... at sea to boot!
Thus, I found this nifty mod but; oh woe! It lingers beyond my grasp.

I´m having CTD with your latest mod enabled, (1.2.1) when I get out Kiel or Wilhems, I aim to UK, TC x 256 and goes to desktop (near Helgoland ).
Anyone has the same problem?

No, this problem was not known up to now, or with others appeared.
How near do you drive past Helgoland?
Problems which have appeared with my tests were reacted that the engine by SH5 sensitively, as soon as one approaches with a too high time compression available spawn points.
If you approach a harbour in the vicinity of 100 to 150 km, your time compression clearly reduces.
Similarly also there react the engines of SH3 and SH4.
Besides, also the hardware and the configuration this is obviously vital.

2 GB of working memory can be something a little, 4 GB there would be better. With other Mods there should be no problems.
I will test over again, see whether I something finds what it could lie with.

Thanks, I will try it disabling some other mods.
Looks lovely... so much so, that I'm willing to restart my career for this mod (at drumbeat already). But it seems to object to the "Lite Campaign 1.2" mod. Has anyone been able to have both with no issues or is that not possible.

no i dont seem to have any issues with the both of em.
Sounds promising... The reason I asked is, I had already been using LC1.2 for a while. And when I came across this mod and tried to add it using JSGME, it objected and sighted that a whole bunch of files had already been altered by LC1.2, having always been told not to allow multiple mods on the same file, with the exception of "readme.txt" files, I aborted.

I know the LC1.2 only here from the forum, from the reading.
If JSGME finds out that one Mod data of the others headline, besides, you win a little.
You can balance the folders of both Mods to see which data by both Mods being changed.
The terrain and harbour changes will not be it.
Certainly these are the campaign data.
Are headlined by the other Mod, approx. 360 additional ship movements, the ships get lost in the harbours added anew, as well as the changes of the Convoy the routes which were added by me there.

You can use both Mods easily.
Instal first the Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_2_1, then the Lite_Campaign_LC_1.21.
This headlines in campaigns.cfg of the Total_Germany the start date.
I had changed it on 01.09.1939.
Then it is 03.09.1939 again.
You can change this, nevertheless, easily with a text editor after installation of the Lite_Campaign_LC_1.21 on 01.09.1939.

I use these mods:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1645977&postcount=72
The flags such as Albania, Finland, Czechoslovakia not display in museum, although I have installed your Terrain harbou mod 1.2.1 wit he patch 1.
What mod overwrite the data from your mod and does not display these flags?
thfeu58
05-03-11, 06:31 AM
Look to the Textures / TNormal / tex folder whether there exist these flags *. dds files. Then check the version of the flag.dat in the Library folder. It must be from 03/05/2010 18:14.
You can install the Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_2_1, and the Patches (first the patch, the mod) by JSMG undo and then reinstall it again.
This situation, experiences you have overwritten the data which mod Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_2_1. Because this must be uninstalled.
When I see your list of Conus `Graphic Mod noticed 1.1, it also contains flags *. dds - files. I know not the parts of all of you mods activated. Probably the flag.dat is overwritten by one of these. :hmmm:
Go so ago, as I wrote at first, then you will be quickly found, and can turn off the cause. :salute:

Hallo thfeu58,
Romania-3.5.2010, 15.20
3.5.2010, but 15.21 (Albania), 15.22 (Bulgaria), 15.23 (China, Colombia, Croatia).
Cuba -2.5.2010 (20.04)
Czechia - 3.5.2010, 15.23
Denmark - 3.5.2010, 15.24
Estonia - 3.5., 15.25
Faroe island - 3.5., 00.34
Finland, Hungary-3.5., 15.25
Iceland - 3.5., 11.52
India-13.3.2010, 9.21
India_M2-3.5.2010, 17.09
Ireland - 3.5.2010, 15.25
Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, Red Cross-3.5.2010, 15.26
Turkey, Uruguay-3.5.2010, 15.27
Venezuela-3.5.2010, 15.27
Yugoslavia-3.5.2010, 15.28
Wenn ich Sie richtig verstehe, dann soll ich den Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_2_1 und den Patch per JSMG deaktivieren und dann wieder aktivieren und dabei zuerst den Patch und erst dann den Hauptmod (Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_2_1) aktivieren??

Hallo Josef,

Hi Joseph,
the CTD in countries like Colombia, Iceland, or I can not confirm.
I have tested it all over again and all countries and entities in the museum I could easily see and retrieve.
I can not tell you why it will fail with you. :hmmm:

The error is corrected with the following patch:
