I have tried several different AI mods and then do the historic mission where you have to pass through a screen of numerous escorts and sink a large battleship. Most of the time I have 3 escorts circling around me, and several times I was at periscope depth and had an escort pass directly over me, and still managed to miss. I dont think I have ever been hit by a depth charge the whole time I have played this game. The only damage I have sustained from escorts is had my radio damaged by machine gun fire at periscope depth, and being hit by deck guns on the surface. It would be nice to see escort accuracy of SH 3 and 4 incorporated in SH 5. I sure would like to be scared of escorts again!:arrgh!:

Did you try mine? I make the charges pretty damn deadly....
What you report is the exact reason why I modded it.
Also, its not the AI much as it is the stock damage, its very weak.
Here is video of the damage in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOSstMK4ggY
