largest explosions

In the past I've sunk four ships with one torp..you know, hit one loaded ship and it explodes everything nearby.

What causes the largest explosions that doe's the most surrounding damage, ammo, oil, freight?

I've sunk the Yamato and it's explosion took out my sub once at around 500 yards, so what in it explodes so damaging, ammo.

Ammunition explosions can cause some terrific concussions. Anything close enough can be severely damaged or destroyed by it. Ship hulls can fracture, or rupture seams in the plate metal, and the shock can cause ordinance on other ships to go off. Kinda like the effects of firing a round or dropping a bomb directly into an ammo dump.

If it is TMO 1.9 I believe he is taking ammo cargo off all his ships with 2.0.

TMO what I've always played. I wouldn't care if they remove the ammo, why I like sinking lots of ships with one torp, you only get credit for the one you hit...
