Today on Sunday the 18th, Poland's President Lech Kaczyński was buried with full military honors by the Armed Forces of Poland at Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków. In the name of the Polish Armed Forces I would like to thank our Commander-in-chief for his service. I would also like to thank all people from all over the world for their support during these sad times for my nation.

I read that Medvedev also attended, and that there has been a big interest in Russia about things relating to Katyn. Maybe something good has already come out of this in the form of a more serious dialog between Poland and Russia about Katyn etc.

Although in the past I was a bit skeptical about the possibility of relationships between Poland and Russia to become better, recently I see some promising signs from both sides. I really hope this will be a positive and long lasting aftermath of this tragedy... The time will tell if it's true or not. I hope yes :salute:
