Getting Rid of The Floaty Particles in the Water

Has anyone fixed this yet ? at times there appears to be too much debris in the water and look's like Crap I think. Has anyone approached this for SH 5 ?

There's a few mods for it, one turns them a pretty blue, another lowers their density I think. Search is your friend. :)

I know there is one for SH 3 , I figured that someone would have figured out how to eliminate them all together. Although a creative graphic effect I found it of little use other than obscuring my screen shot's while in game.

I tried Searching the Threads and Google Neg results. I'M not wanting to change their color I want them gone all together. I know there are Mods out for the other versions, was just wondering if there was one for SH 5 as of yet.

The file that has those is: C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Misc\impurity.dds I'm not sure if removing them is as simple as removing that file (might cause CTD I imagine) or instead you'll need to make a transparent DDS file and mod that in instead perhaps?
