View Full Version : Couple of questions using British subs

Hi all: I'm new to Sh4 1.5 & have just installed 4 mods.
The generic mod enabler,Ship pack 1, The uclass & T class British subs.

On the U class, I see no conning tower on external & have no bridge.
I read that I may need to change the unitspartsdata/upcunitsparts file number, so I changed it from unitspartsxssu to unitspartsxssu100 however I still have the same problem. Perhaps I need to change something within the file itself?

On the T-class I can see a conning tower, however when I go to the bridge view I am placed in front of the conning tower - perhaps the bridge is not yet finished in this mod ? I see no mention of this though in the threads unless I missed something.

Any help would be appreciated.

...so I changed it from unitspartsxssu to unitspartsxssu100 however I still have the same problem. Right idea, wrong place. Instead of tacking the number on to the end, you need to replace the "x" in the file name with the number.

I'll fix that, the view's positions were never fixed according to the new tower..

The S-class is in GWX 3.0 for SH3.

yeah JU_88 told me about it but it wasn't his model to give and he says it's not good enough for a players' sub...

dl gwx 3.0 but didn't have time to look at it yet..

Right oh then. I don't think there are any more S classes out there.
