hello fellow subsimmers i would like to know if it is possible to change the picture of the captain on the crew status screen

and also what format it has to be

also where to find the file

Crem member Icons are located here:
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Menu\Skins\German\Gui\Crew
The Crew Images are 95x128 pixels (Portrait) on a canvas size of 128x128. That means there's a blak section to the right of the pic.

These are saved as a DXT3 with Alpha (The Alpha is 95x128) so as only the pic shows onscreen without the blank part.

Lol that looked like fun. I had to try that out.

I used 'lighten' layer effect on a darkened face beneath, and masking the new face with a mask layer effect, so that you can correrct mistakes as you make the mask.

His chest hairs didn't make it into the picture :har: (Sean Connery)

Edit: I added some shadow and darkened the face abit. I didn't have a photo of myself available so I just picked a male hollywood actor.
