Mods used in these pictures: Type 7c u-boat with turm 1, 1941 St.Nazaire. Flags/Pennants/DF antenna by Anvart. Exterior Lightmaps and Twisty Persicope and New Interior by Flakmonkey. All commands SHFT+E, (Engine Room Camera) SHFT/CTRL H (open/close hatch), SHFT/CTRL O (raise/lower obs. periscope), CTR PGUP/PGDWN (raise/lower attack periscope), SHFT/CTRL V (raise/lower DF antenna), SHFT/CTRL F (raise/lower flag), SHFT/CTR R (raise/lower FuMo30 radar antenna) etc. should work as intended.

Greetings,

If you would like to use Anvart's flags, pennants and DF antenna mod but would also like to use Flakmonkey's twisty periscope mod and Flakmonkey's Exterior Lightmaps for Type 7c U-boats and h.sie's Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3 mod then try this mod.

If you would like to use Flakmonkey's/Diving Ducks' Open hatch in Command Room/New Interiors but would also like to use Urfish's Mod Strike command room damage effects and water drips then try this mod.

If you would like to use HanSolo's Animated Sub Pens OR thfue58/Rowi58/bigboywooly's New Wilhelmshaven plus locks for GWX 3 OR Jimbuna's Wac Animated Sub Pens interior start for GWX but would also like to use the new sound effects from the Lifeboats and Debris and/or Nvdrifter's Depth Charge Shake mod then try this mod.

If you like the camera settings from Flakmonkey's New Interiors, Luca's Open Conning Tower, Brett25's Wide Angle Camera and Nvdrifter's Depth Charge Shake and (optionally Hitman's GUI) combined together then try this mod.

This small mod (Aces' Multimod compatibility fix v1.6 beta) is a development of my recent Aces' Combined SH3.SDL Files mod and combines file entries from the following popular mods to try and achieve compatability between them.

1. Lifeboats and Debris V4 (LifeBoats&Debris_v4)

2. HanSolo's Animated Sub Pen (WAC4.1 SubPen_animated_18.02.2010)

5. Flakmonkey's New Interior (FM_NewInterior_V1.0)

6. Luca's Open Hatch in Conning Tower (Conning Tower open Hatch TestFMfood)

7. Kurtz's British Asdic Mk I Final (BritishAsdicMkIFinal)

8. Nvdrifter's Depth Charge Shake (Depthcharge Shake v2.01)

This mod will not work on its own it requires the mods listed above. I have simply combined entries from these files, full credit should go to the above authors of these mods for their fantastic work and also to Brett25 whose excellent wide angle camera settings I have incorporated into this mod.

I have incorporated/adapted mod compatibility fixes where included by the mod author. I have tested in both single missions and campaign missions.

Note: You must have the following mods enabled GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010, FM30_UpDown_final, FM_NewInterior_V1.0, Conning Tower open Hatch TestFMfood, Depthcharge Shake v2.01, Urfischs_ModStrike_Beta1, Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3, to ensure correct operation.

Note: You do not have to have all (or any) of the following mods installed LifeBoats&Debris_v4, WAC4.1 SubPen_animated_18.02.2010, GWX_3_Wilhemshafen,St_Naz,Schluese_and_xtra_ships _V5, BritishAsdicMkIFinal, Wac Animated Sub Pens interior start for GWX. But if you have these mods then I have combined their sh3.sdl sound file entries.

Well chaps that's it for the time being I think. I think you can try without Open Hatch On Conning Tower mod Magic111. I think the Hitman GUI add-on should work s intended. I will have a look next week at other GUI mods and see what I can do. I am pleased that I rectified the twisty periscope not showing in 1941 campaign starts from St.Nazaire.

Oops forgot to include the command_xx.cfg files in the fix for the Hitman GUI, getting late, will upload them tomorrow. For the time being enable the Hitman Gui, then the v1.5 Multimod fix and then fix for the hitman GUi. This will work until I upload the revised Hitman Fix, like this:

This is my sad story:

I have unsuccessfully to use this mod (versions 1.4 through 1.6) with both 1) the 12-mod list included in post #1 and 2) the same 12 mods but enabled in different order, as per the list in YELLOW, on top GW3 gold:cry:
Is there any suggestion to make this work?

Sorry to hear you are having problems, I am leaving on a business trip for a few days. The only thing that comes straight to mind is that it could be a memory problem. I can run n all these mods upto the hitman GUI without applying the /3GB switch if I want to run hitman's gui as well then I need to use the /3gb swith else I will get CTDs. Are you getting CTDs? or is there another problem the only bit of the mod order that might be critical is that I'd reccommend enabling Luca's Open Hatch in Conning Tower after the FM New Interiors.

I will try and check back while I'm away if possible.

I don't know how much memory is needed to run this package of mods with your compat fix mod -that I think is GREAT- and would like to emphasize that this post is NOT a complain. Just because I've tried and enjoyed all of these mods individually and on certain combinations, but your package is like a dream come true that I'll love to have!:D
All I can tell you is that I have 4 GB of RAM and I'm running LSH3 V5 and WAC 4.1 supermods without a prob. Is this not enough?
But your now on a business trip so, I won't keep on taking your time and I will try to enable the whole package again as soon as I can on a new & clean install (I mean, SH3 patched plus GW3 gold) and later report my results here again....

You may have to make some choices as to what you want most. I dropped depth charge shake as it wasnt really working for me, and life boats and debris because it intereferes too much with stock NYGM settings. So basically, try running with fewer mods then see what breaks the camels back

So maybe my system is not up to the task:wah: Do you think that it would work trying anything less than the must-have mods, lets say, without the depthcharge and the waterstream+exhaust mods? When I finish my current patrol, I would give it a try..

yes you can, like I said, I dont use the shake mod and lifeboats. You may have to remove some things from aces patch. Just take a look at whats being replaced. If you want I can send you my version that will work, minus the lifeboats and shake, and you can see if that will work

That would be great, Brett25! Could it be via PM? This could be a long wanted but never understood how-to opportunity to learn how these things work, 'cause I would like to do it by myself. Keep in mind that I would need step-by-step instructions or a link to a thread that gives me those instructions to be able to proceed:oops:.

By the way, last saturday I unsuccesfully spent hours reading your wide angle camera thread -http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php- and in particular Desga's posts (especially post #117) but I couldn't figure out in which order the DC shake mod should be enabled in addition to the ones in his list (which I was able to play with no probs). After several attempts and completely frustrated I gave up. Nah, man, I'm too ignorant about these things:cry:

Hi chaps,

Well I got back from my trip late last night and am back to work today.

I'm sorry for any confusion regarding my list of "must be installed" mods. What I meant by that was that my work incorporates files from all of these mods in an effort to get them all working together so it is designed to work with them all. I am currently expecting a couple of files from V-Modifications who has kindly been working on things and I will upload a v1.7 ASAP.

As everyones idea of "must have mods" will be different it would be very difficult to produce so many variations of compatibility fix. Personally I have chosen a "modular" approach rather than a "super mod" type approach as I believe it keeps things open to tweak as new versions and/or new mods become available.

Regarding the memory issues there's been a lot of discussion lately regarding this. there are some very big mods out including the new FM Interiors, Animated Sub Pens etc. and i've had my fair share of issues getting them all to run together with sporadic CTDs etc. however I think I now have a stable and reliable mod install order.

My main interest is in my film work so I like my "eye candy" mods so they will always figure high on my list of mods to try and incorporate.

Thanks to V-modifications help, I have a new (and final for the time being) version. This is no longer beta and I hope will suffice until new mods or new versions of exiting mods come along. I will now turn my attentions to looking at other GUIs and see if I can do something to make them as compatible with these mods as possible.

I will post the link to the new version on new thread later today.

Regarding memory issues. I have now re-instated the /3GB swith in order to run the addition of Hitman's GUI. The mod install order as per my previous post seems to be the best I've found. One can still experience CTDs occasionally if one quit campaign and tries to start another one without exiting the game but loading and playing both single missions and saved careers etc. is reliable. I'd urge anyone with suspected memory problems to consider looking at Anvart's /3GB batch file, you can always revert back if it doesn't help your problems.

More news later today.
