Hi there,

I`m real sorry if these have been answered else where but i can not find any answers for them.

1. where is the recognition book kept now ?

2. why do my saved games always restart with the wrong time, usualy earlier, i`m using syncro on the saves ?

3. Is there any way to tone down the Pyrotechnics that happen when you hit a ship, EVERY thing turns into a raging inferno at the drop of a hat !!!! ?

I`ve read in convoy attack accounts that in some cases the ship in one column did not even notice that the ship in the next column had been torpedoed.
all the best, Grayson

1. AFAIK, you can only access the abbreviated recognition manual when you have a target in sight and you press SPACEBAR to lock.

2. Yes, the save game function has issues, sometimes ships you have torpedoed will reload perfectly intact, weather issues, and time issues.

3. No joke, these ships must be constructed from crystallized gasoline! The pyro effects are great, but they are overapplied. Not every ship should burst into flame from stem to stern.

Not every ship should burst into flame from stem to stern.

It does look kind of ridiculous damage a ship, but not enough to slow it down, and it merrily sails on at full speed burning like a Viking funeral pyre.

I recommend this mod

It removes the 'Ship Full of Fireworks' effect.

And continue to sail merrily along
