Any mods that remove the mouse over info bubbles?

I know what my attack periscope is and what it does... don't need to be reminded every friggin time I go to it.

Turn off the HUD. Shift+Z And there are ways the HUD can be on, but info is not. Like having the HUD off by shift+Z and then pulling up the map. That will have the HUD on, but info off. And there are several other ways it does this too.

Have that installed Sabre, it only removes the dialogue bubbles from crew, but not from equipment.

Actually I think there is an option in the gameplay options that has the "tooltips" disabled. That may get you what you want perhaps.

Me I just have the HUD off most of the time unless I want info from the map or TAI. With the HUD off nothing appears at all until you click on someone or something.

I'll take another look at the options. Thanks!

Can't see it...

It would be great to have the option to disable/ remove these popups. Very distracting!

Maybe sometime soon :06:

I think TheDarkWraith is trying to see if I can remove them in the next release of his UI mod.

They are bugging me too. I don't mind the small, one line tooltips but the huge pop-ups on the right side are an immersion killer for me.

He'll find it... and relief will it be after the update. :DL

Well I must appoligize, I could have sworn there was an option to have those tool tips off but your right, aint there.
Another senior momment, so sorry..............:03:

But yes this is yet another of those things that once you've been around to it all you dont need the tips. So yep I'd second the request with ya.
And it's another reason I keep that HUD off 90% of the time. A nice clear view.

That's why I favour Dark Wraith's SH5 Enhanced interface, it keeps the clutter to a minimum, but everything you need is available quickly.

All in time, I've had a search for these files but it is a dark art to make sense of this stuff.

Actually I have the feeling that the patch coming up will change some of this, and so since I've done a minimum of modding(only three minor ones) im waiting it out to do any more.

Yes, probably a wise move atm.

It must be a pain to keep re-starting the game to test fledgling mods, the people who create these must be very patient souls.

I reckon it takes me anywhere upto 4-5 minutes of waiting to get from clicking the desktop icon to actually playing the game. Especially if you only want to see if your latest mod acquisition is going to work or not.
