Hello,
When we're firing with flakgun,we have ammo gauge just in front of sights. I don't see any mods to correct that..
Thanks if someone can give me help for that.

Welcome aboard Crematory! If you're feeling adventurous you can use the Menu Editor to move that I'm sure.

better answer: forget using the flak guns entirely. Even if you can get 'em manned, you'll play hob (is that the term?) getting 'em aimed properly! Besides, only in Historical Missions have I EVER had to deal with attacking aircraft in SH5!

thats the spirit :yeah: if there is a problem and you dont see a mod for it then make your own.

modding isnt hard once you decide to do it, a little experimenting and asking a few questions will give you the results your looking for.

thats a great response :nope:

if your sub doesnt work just dont use that either i suppose?

if something isnt working properly then we should all support the effort to fix it and not just ignore things that may not fit everyones style of gameplay.

sorry to be harsh but c'mon lets not take the attitude that stuff not working correctly is ok if you find a way to avoid it. lets assume new patches and modders will solve most of these issues so the blocked vision IS a big deal that should be fixed IMO

Hmmm or you could just turn the whole mess off with shift+Z.:smug:

Hi Crematory.

You'll need to open the Menu Editor. If you check out the sticky above on Modding it shows how to do this if you haven't figured out that part yet. :)

Once open you can see a list of Pages, each page is bacically a different screen is SH5.
Eg: the (Page attack Periscope) is the page you see on screen when you click on the periscope in the conning tower.

You need to fing the Page for the gun you want to edit. I think there Page 20mm gun and Page 37mm gun. Once here you should be able to find the offending article and move it to another position.

I released a tutorial on using the Menu Editor here that may be of help:

Good Luck :yeah:

I would like to thanks a lot all moders that give us a great games!
The New UI mod is fabulous!
Meanwhile i had little probem to extratc it with Alzip because it makes 9,6 MO and Alzip crashed..
Maybe someone knows better tool than Alzip..?

use 7zip its open source and you can find it at its website or i uploaded it here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1362

its what 95% of the modders use, its great and as far as i know it works with all zip files but when its unpacked using winrar zip program it sometimes gets corrupted but i thought that was just when it was winrar but i guess other zip programs have trouble with it too.
