View Full Version : Which part of the game software is recognising loaded torpedo types?

Until now I was unable to find out which part of the game software (files) is responsible for recognising the torpedo type loaded in a tube. I'm talking about SH4, 1.5 German Uboats and torpedo types. As soon as you load for example a LuTII-type torpedo you get on the attack map above the tube's selection button another rectangular button, which allows by pressing it to choose the data for the torpedo's searching pattern.
I´m playing around with different torpedoes and tactical anti ship missiles which are working, but as soon as I add a new tube to the boat model I don't get any more this "pattern button". So I assume there must be a file which is recognising tube and the torp-type, but I couldn't find it.
Is there anybody in the forum who can help me?

It is in the Menu/Menu1024_768.ini, I think it is the G3B, I149 section. I have not tested it because we did he opposite of what you are trying to do. We added tubes and lights but we deleted the fat/lut buttons since we have Japanese subs and they don't use fat/lut torpedoes. But that is where you will find it.
