Install Guide for OM / OMEGU and other Mods by Lurker HLB3

I have recently observed a number of post by various people on “how” to install my mods, and to be honest I’m ready tired of all the “dis-information” that has been spread around. Also for reasons unknown to me, people just don’t want to read the “Readmes” that are on the “first” post of every one of my mods and keep asking the same question over and over again.

Therefore I just went though every on of my mods and rewrote all the install instructions “again” and I’m also going to post them here.

If you’re going to also play the USN campaign

Download RSRDC_SH15_V550
Download RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1

Move OMv705, OMv705_to_V720, OM v720 Patch 4, RSRDC_SH15_V550, and RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1 into Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\MODS directory

Follow these instructions for the OMEGU / OMEGU Patch “packages”



Uncompress OMEGU v300 pkg
You will find the following mods: OMEGU_v300, OM_Med_Env, OM_Pac_Env, OM_MultiCmd_Keys, OM_SH3_Command_Keys, OM_Harder_Escort_L1 and OM_Harder_Escort_L2.
Moves these mods into the Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\MODS directory for install with JSGME

I guess that's supposed to be v720 Patch 2, otherwise it doesn't seem logical.

And since I have just gone through the process myself, a remark. [First of all thanks, everything works if your directions are followed to the letter, and I am quite amazed by the mod.] But is there a particular reason you don't integrate your mods in 2 complete packages, instead of these micro patches and endless instructions that ensue? I would assume the version numbers are a bit too much for a lot of people. This is no way directed against your work, which is fantastic, but the procedure strikes me as somewhat pedantic.

Thank you lurker. I followed the directions from the posts but some how missed the fact that omegu was "packages" and tried enabling that obviously it didnt work. Ill get the real mods out of the package folders now that I realize this. Again thanks for all your hard work and dedication. the game is truly fantastic with the work youve put in. I run OM on my desktop and TMO on my lap top so I can run both km and US FB campaigns. Loving this sim!

As a rookie, I wasted lots of time trying to set up a good u-boat german campaign, based on the great Operation Monsun + Omegu, - without the KiuB manual TDC.

For whatever its worth, here is a list of mods that works:
