It was me. I stripped it out of TMO 1.7 and sent it to a coupe guys for testing, (since I personally don't use it myself). I never heard back from anyone, and forgot about it. Let me dig it up and release it.

Well it looks like I should get off my butt and make a SCAF 1.9 compatible edition!!
Thanks Nbjackso for keeping up with SCAF.
I'm away from home right now, but I'll see what I can do to make a compatible edition soon. To be accurate, I'll have to recheck each ship for calibrated accuracy of its reference point height (I just don't assume the ship's heights are not changed from one version of a mod to another. It's too easy to change how the ship sits in the water to not check what every mod thinks is correct, thus changing the height of the reference point). New ships always need to be checked.
Again, thanks for the Beta.

Works great, be nice to have all ships in the book added by TMO, RSRD and Shippack1.

No problem, glad I could help out.

By all means, do so. I never intended to take over your great mod. I don't consider myself a modder, only a file manipulator to get different mods to work together. Mostly by trial and error.

Well good for you!! Believe me, that's how I started. Figuring out how the files work and how a mod file relates to the stock files gives one the insight to strike out on their own. I'm not proprietary, I'm glad to help. I do appreciate a shout of recognition for whatever one may use, and you did it well!!

I tried that, and the game hung at load time.
I think it's because it added stuff for ships not present. ( I dont use RSRD).

Think it's a TMO version only listed here.

Before i removed SCAF (don't shoot me please), i extracted it and made an optional mod out of it that i never posted. Hopefully i didn't accidently delete it. I think i have it tucked away though.

negative, it says:
".... for TMO 1.9 + RSRDC"

Yes, I did include the RSRDC ships, but I think I tried the mod w/o the RSRDC mod enabled and it still worked. I do remember having a bugger of a time getting through all of the ships in the museum without getting any CTDs, but I did finally was able to fix all of the ships causing the CTDs.
My only suggestion is, A) wait for Ducimus to release his version, or B) Go into the SCAF mod and delete the ship folders that do not appear in the TMO mod. Then enable the mod and see what happens.

Let me get this straight: The current SCAF mod works with TMO 1.9 PLUS RSDC or do you need to delete ships?

It may work with TMO 1.9, I don't know for sure what Nbjackso's work really did. I do applaud his efforts though!! I very much doubt it works with the latest compatible RSRDC version for TMO 1.9. Too many new ship changes to have it compatible with RSRDC v502 and its latest Patch 1.
I'm looking right now at making a compatible SCAF version for 1.9 and the RSRDC/TMO editions. Hang in there, I'll have it posted within the week.

First of all, thank you for the kind words. Secondly, as I said before I never intended to take over the SCAF mods. Had I known you planned on updating SCAF for TMO 1.9, I never would have uploaded this version. I will delete this mod and edit the thread to let everyone know that the REAL SCAF will be released soon. Again, I'm sorry if I caused any problems.

I want to tell you Nbjackso, you didn't hurt my feelings at all regarding an edition of SCAF for TMO1.9!! I'm quite flattered someone thought SCAF was in need of an update to keep compatible with a mod like TMO. I've got an AOB Calculator that another modder made better with a clearer image and I'm happy he did. We're all in this together.
I've got to admit, (as I look over the RSRDC ship changes) I'm going to need to make new ship pictures for the Recognition Manual. That my take a little time, but I'm still on track to complete.
Great news CapnScurvy,
Now I understand why I kept getting the range wrong yesterday using TMO (beautiful as it is) firing a an stationary cruiser....
Thanks in advance, trebb

I've just released SCAF (Ship Centered, Accuracy Fix) for TMO 1.9 and its current patch. I have also released a compatible version for RSRDC v502 (and its current patch) which is intended to overlay the TMO 1.9 mod.
Both SCAF editions can be found in the "Downloads" menu of this forum. Or use the following links:
SCAF for TMO 1.9 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1730)
SCAF for RSRDC v502 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1731)
I have also included within the download "MaxOptics IV for TMO 1.9". I recommend its use when making a manually found range using the Stadimeter. As an optional install, you may judge for yourself the MaxOptics usefulness.

Awesome 10x CapnScurvy

EDIT: Nevermind I read the readme

Yep, the README helps with the installation and mod description.
In short, use the "SCAF for RSRD v502" if you use TMO 1.9, its patch, RSRDC v502 (which is of course RSRDC's compatible version for TMO 1.9), its patch. Then load the "SCAF for RSRDC v502" and last the "MaxOptics IV for TMO" if you desire.
Just plan on ignoring the JSGME warnings about files being already modified. They indeed were, but the base TMO and RSRDC files are still intact (SCAF was simply added to them).
If you just use the TMO 1.9 without RSRDC, follow the activation of TMO with the "SCAF for TMO 1.9".

Yep, I have to admit that I just recently came back to the Pacific Theater and installed pretty much all the good mods I have found so last time I had SCAF installed was a year or two ago (if I'm not mistaken) but I know it's a must for SH4. Also I was using max optics before, and I really recommend it to everyone. Seeing how the periscopes look when using maxoptics is freaking mind blowing and immersive. I myself was like :o WOAH! :yeah:

I'm using the max optics mod.. but without the cameras.dat file.
I like scopes... but the zooms are abit too much for me.
