Was there a patch released? Morale is different!

UUHH .....the reason I wonder is that when I loaded my last game it said downloading, what, i don't know? It was not my save games because that was the next screen.

Any way, when I began the game the morale was about 3/4 full on Epp. Everyother time I begin a game it is at zero, untill I talk to him and go through all the dialog trees with the rest of the crew.

So, what happened? But most of all, if something did, why wasn't I told.

Nor, just checked, mine is still 1.1.5 and manual patching does nothing. Stupid question but you not got it modded like with the morale mod or anything have you. This game sometimes throws up lots of strange things at times.

Morale bug, when ya load up from a saved game or continue campaign............I think everybody has that problem( I hope so )...........Maybe im wrong..........

But im sick of my crew missing me and getting all sad and depressed when I go away...........When I come back I want them all happy and jumpin with joy.:arrgh!:

It is indeed a common bug, a total loss of all morale gained upon loading a saved game.

There are mods to work around this but they basically 'freeze' the morale changes altogether but at least now you can man the freakin gun :doh:

It updated the ubisoft launcher. It does that from time to time. Morale are sometimes saved though it's rare. It has happend to me several times but usually the moral is not saved or doesn't load properly.

Thanks Ragtag. I have never had my morale carry over from a previous mission before and it threw me for a loop. I seriously though they may have snuck something in on me.

I am not sure, but I get my crew with morale saved sometimes, and I think it may not be a bug, if there are enemies nearby, it will reset your morale pool everytime you load.
If there is nothing nearby, most of my loads, I get my crew morale saved...
Test it and see if you get the same
I disabled saved games on server, maybe another factor....

Hmm interesting. Gonna check it out. I'm not disabling savegames as it screws up the savegames i have if i do.

It does indeed save moral but only parts of it. If you check the shoulder sleeves under the crew pictures there should be silverstars coming up when you start to add abilities. You can see them when finishing the tutorial mission when you dock at kiel and start your first patrol without saving and loading. You can also see the silvermarks on the sleeves in the historical missions.
If you put your mousepointer over them you will see that they say 0/100. I'm not sure what they are ment for but i assume it has something to do with the abilities and how effective they are. Or even maybe levels. The crewmen do have their abilities up to lvl 3 while officers are still stuck on lvl 1 which doesn't make sense at all.
I really hope they fix the moral system and that they come up with a small guide. I would like to know what the shoulder sleeves means.
