Install:

To install please unzip the file to the JSGME mods directory and use JSGME to install this mod!

1) JSGME will install the "ogg" files in the ~data\sound\radio\Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1939 -1943

2) Here you have now new frequencies on your Radio from:

On the Sh4 ATO thread there is a link to the BBC mod. They are all Sh4 mods but work with SH5. But if you add many of them just make sure you have them on different frequencies.

I create now a bif Radio Mod with, Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 39-43, BBC 39-43 and Deutscher Europasender 39-43 (German Propaganda for UK and USA people) I take some files from the Transatlantic Mod and include the Paris Mod here from the forum. Its now 1,3GB, I just need a server there can handle that :)

Just tested the download and is working great, hard to understand why some people fail to do the same. Just enter the code, wait 1 min for the queue counter then hit the regular download button.

Thats exactly what i do. But after a minute or so the download time go,s from 7 minutes to 27 hours and 2 seconds. I have no problems with downloading other stuff. But this download link does it every single time.

It add nothing. But you can add the radio command yourself by editing the commands.cfg like this:

Switch it on/off by clicking on your radio man icon and ordering switching radio on/off. If you don't have the icon (honestly I don't remember if they are there in stock game), you may need to install one of many mods available around.

If you have the More Crew Commands Dialogue mod you can turn on the radio via chatting with your radio operator.

However with Church's Keyboard Commands v.1.1 you can bring up the radio (I don't remember which key it is as I altered my key configuration for compatibility with TDWs mod).

Not sure if this is right but what I did was download the file, then unzip it direct into the JSGME mod folder.

Then open up JSGME and there it was in the available mods list, just enable it from there. It works just fine for me.

My whole radio is stuffed now. I decided to give it another go. Dis-abled the mod and deleted it from JSGME altogether. Then removed all files from my Ubisoft/SH5/Data/Radio file including the "Silent hunter theme tune", and just left the file "noise.org" in there.

I then re-installed the mod, but now my radio not only plays nothing, but wont tune off anthing other than 00.00!!

All the files now seem to be in Ubisoft/SH5/Sound. ?? What files should i see where, and what files should be in the radio folder as standard?

You know, this brings back memories, particularly quite a few of the songs there.

Back in the SHIII days I just couldn't get enough of expanding the Gramophone folder and, seeing as how I was sitting on God knows how many hundreds of original German recordings from 1939-1945, I started adding them like crazy. Ended up sharing them around here too. Least I could do considering how much this community has done for me over the years.

Anyway, the only way I could keep from listening to songs that hadn't been published yet (in game time) was to manually add more songs as my campaign went on which, needless to say, was a bit tedious.

This mod takes care of that by using the radio feature that came later on and creating a different frequency for each year. Brilliant!

He ask for other download not gamefront because some countries manely in europe don't acept gamefront anymore so is sweeden! Swizerland was the same but now its working again :)

What is worst is that it is blocking Italy as well ;) :D

I thing gamefront used to be a reliable file hosting service, and it stored even huge files. This is why so many SH5 mods are still on their server, especially the big ones :yep:

Something you can do with the gramophone is while in port, and before launching the game is go into that file, select all of the songs and re-arrange by type, name, size, etc. You could even create a shortcut to your desktop for that file.
