I thought i saw some screenshots of pre-release sh-5 where we saw the captain in 3rd person view. And i,m sure this wasent from the 1st campaign mission. Why is it not in the release version and would it be possible to have this in the feature. I mean now i seem to look like ghost in 3rd person.

He He, We saw ALOT of things prerealesed that are not in the game.
Full gun crew, Correct Ocean Linners, etc...etc...etc...etc....

But yes, I bet the files are somewhere to be found by our crack team of experts. It realy is a shame they have to finish so much in this game.

That would be really cool. Imagine being able to customise one's own captain!!!

Full gun crew? Never saw that one! However the 3rd person was in seen in a screenshot from neal preview .

I agree, I was a little disappointed that we are still a ghost, or just a camera.
Yeah that trailer video where he is walking through the sub, stops and looks in the mirror had me thinking we'd have a body this time around.:shifty:

3rd person captain then a conversion mod of the character models/textures to basically reskin them to everyones favourite mini-TV series.

Arrrr, this be a grand idea. Im thinking of a game I used to play online where you preyy much built your own character. Star Wars Galaxies it was, granted thats a much bigger and wide scoped game than the SH series. But yes one could with it's character building system construct yourself to look even like yourself or pretty close anyway.:DL
