Have tried to read the mod tools forum and the individual mod files for help but I'm missing something I think. When I download a mod and I unzip or unrar it I take that file and put it in my mods folder in SH5. The JSGME program finds it and I can activate it but it never shows up in my game. For example DarkWraith's mod with the 3 old style controls - I've taken the file and put it in MODS folder in SH5, I can activate it but I don't see any old style controls.

I'm finding that I may then have to open the already extracted file and go down a few levels and get only the MODS files (from the old style control foler) and put those in SH5 mod folder? How do you know which ones you can just put in MODS after you have extracted them vs which ones you have to go deeper in to the files structure in order to get files to put in the MODS folder? Hope that makes sense.

Here is another example on Capthelms Lighting Effects mod for sh5, do you extract the first file and put in mods folder, or do you have extra 2 levels down?

for my mods if you read the documentation or post #1 of each mod's thread it tells you how to install it. I'm making mine more user friendly by just making a \MODS folder so that the user copies that folder to their \Ubisoft\SilentHunter5 folder and then enable via JSGME. If you need help installing mine please PM me.

I think I have yours running Darkwraith, and your work is much appreciated. Too bad Ubisoft does not give you and the other modders a cut of the purchase price, it's you guys doing all the work!
