Iīm testing a new mod from a great guy here from our community that just make me wonder. How could Sh3 be so good as the time pass? I can say that we waited 5 years to have this new great update for Sh3...I can say that a lot of ppl just will be happy as Iīm now! I can say that ALL we will be using it. Just great! Terrific!
(but i canīt say anymore about for now)

Not fair in the least, Rubini :wah: You just know it's gotta be something big if you're the one testing it. Atleast give us a bit of a hint, man... *crosses fingers and hopes for some SH5 quality graphics or ship models*

A Big arese mod that i can simply put on toip of 3.0 gold, something like an 3.1 update , inofficial?
No, itīs not anything about new stuff on the game...but something just very basic...hummm.
I canīt say noting just because itīs not my mod and I promisse to the author that I will say nothing about it until He authorizes me to do so, anyway he himself will probably open a thread about it in the correct time.
I come here and open this thread just because when i tested the beta of the mod I becomes so happy with the result that I could not resist in share my happyness. Letīs now crosser fingers that all small glitches could be solved quickly.
And these last days have really puch Sh3 beyoind our expectations , no?
I guess that the SH5 failure and the mature o S3D have just release a lot of contents and efforts that were reserved for the future subsim game...just a pity for SH5 and a real boom for Sh3!:up:

Rubini, if it got you so excited, then it must be really good, especially as I remember some time ago when you nearly lost interest in SH3. I'll check this forum on regular basis.:yep:

Just small Update: All main problems solved. I guess that the mod is read for its first release. I will contact the mod author and see what he want to do!:up::up:

What a stroke of luck it was for me to see it on sale on steam for 5 dollars. I got it in december, and I've broken the "< 1 penny per hour" threshold already! :haha:

Hmmm waiting for five years (since the release of SH3), put gas on Engines...hm I hope seperate port and starbord engines.
Glad that I bought the Budget Version of SH3 without Starforce (to play it on Win7) although I own the Fullprice Game since the Releaseday.

maybe the long awaited SDK..... and now all thing that were hardcoded untill now will be modable.
additional playable U-Boat types such as Type I , IIb or c, VIIa, VIId or Type XIV milk cow or Type XXIII and so on.
Or itīs the Boat from SH 5 with all Interieurs playable in good old SH3
could be anything...

Reading all these posts we can have for sure all the must have addons list that the devs should have in their hands when starting SH5 but seems that they (or UBI) just choose another patch...:damn:
Iīm here just to say that my hands are blocked because I havenīt had contact with the mod author since I tested it. So, i canīt say nothing more about, not without his permission.
But I can say again that itīs not any new content or SDk for SH3. Itīs just a basic upgrade that will push SH3 really a step ahead IMHO. Perhaps for some guys it could be not so important but for me is just a must...after you play the game with it enabled I bet that you will never more play without it. And itīs essentially compatible with ALL mods out of the box. But some adjusts made for us, the community, will be needed before it is "really ready" for use. And after 48hrs testing and messing with it seems to me that our imagination is the limit for what its implement.
I already have a serie of movies/tease showing some of itīs aspects and possibilities but again i need permission to release them.
So, now letīs be patient and wait. If Ubi didnīt give us what we wanted...well, sh3 is becoming more near than never.:up:

Sounds very exciting, I don't know what it is but I know what I'd most like, wolf packs so that I don't feel like I'm fighting the war single-handed as part of a truely dynamic campaign with losses/production on both sides.
