Why is there not a thread for essential fixes/mods?

Just wondered why there isn't a thread for mods that fix things, with so many bugs would be a good place for newbies to go!:hmmm:

From what I see this pretty much is the best start anyone can get.

I looked through it and nowhere could I find a list of mods that fix bugs and add missing things from the game etc, this list would be essential for every SH5 owner, the list given is vast!:o breaking down to various types such as campaign, environment, sound, Tools, and Tech help but none in the category that would be most helpful, especially to new comers.:hmmm:

And no I haven't seen one yet. I could list what would be in it. Added controls, better A.I. etc....
I guess, start listing the bugs and list the mod that fixes it. But holy gees, where to start?

Morale mod- fixes crew not obeying orders
Plane attack mod- fixes blind R.A.F. planes

That's right, at the moment you have to sift through a "vast amount" of mods to find them, hopefully a section for "must haves" might open up!:yep:

Hi!

I have started a thread (now stickied) here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=163261

It has the title, author, a brief description, and pointers to the discussion and download threads.

It is on the main SH5 forum since there are 10x as many posts there (and presumably 10x as many readers) as the mods forum. The idea is to give as many folks as possible a few links to a hopefully more enjoyable SH5 experience.

If you see any mods that you feel qualify as "game fixes" please let me know or append a pointer to the thread and I will update the first post.

Well, put together a list of anything missing and PM to Webster or Pablo, they will add it :rock:
