Problem with OldStyleSHControls_1_1_0_byTheDarkWraith

Hi ive tried to patch the latest version of my silent hunter 5 for properly install OldStyleSHControls_1_1_0_byTheDarkWraith but as you see i can't.And the OldstyleShControl did'nt work too,Because version of silent hunter 5 i guess.
The error message say the install program have detect no version for silent hunter 5.This update require that a previous version must be install before.

You cant use the download patch with the DVD patch and vice versa.

There's two main problems I see there, 1) We can't properly see the WH4K background you have there and 2) it's in French. :)

From reading other posts about this issue, it sounds like you might have downloaded the wrong patch. Try running this program to have it auto-patch:

C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\Support\GameUpdater\GU.exe

See if that works better. :)

Hi i found something to makes work the OldStyleGauge mod by changing all the menu in english. Silent Hunter 5 is both english and french. Overwrite all files and now mod work.Pour ceux qui ont le jeux en francais;). Forward and backward command gauge are reverse but not a problem.But still not able to patch.Maybe steam take care of this automaticy?.
