I've got this and would like to try it but haven't enabled it because JSGME tells me it wants to alter two .val files that were already altered by WB's GWX campaign with VonDos' ships v2 - NCA_Averof.val and NLUS_.val.
If I let those files get overwritten by Lifeboats & Debris, is it gonna cause problems? If so, is there any way around this? Can I just not use those two .val files from the Lifeboats mod, and let them stay as is?
Hi Frau Kaleun. I noticed in S3D that the Averof always had node for Lifeboats & Debris in the val file:

So you can open val files in S3D for check the difference between one and second Averof file, [id's of the nodes etc..]. I don't know what changes Wreford Brown done in this file, because I don't seen this file.
[EDIT]
I think is better to use file from Lifeboats & Debris mod. These files can be the same, but I'm not 100% sure about this if I can't see them.

Well, this will be a new and exciting experience. :D
Are you talking about the Mission Editor that came with my install, or is it some other program I need to download?
Thanks for your help!
Are you talking about the Mission Editor...
No I meant Silent3Ditor. You can download this program from this site:
http://sh4.skwas.net/downloads.aspx
Tutorial is also there. S3D is probably hard to understand and boring on the begining, but You can edit many game files with this program, also val files.:D
