To all with the gift of SH4 knowledge......

Is it possible to increase the AA gun capability?
I'm looking at rounds per min increase (shells per min ).
Want to see if it is possible to bring abit of modern flair into the game and simulate the Phalanx or goalkeeper. 4200 rpm.
All i've seen so far is the ability to decrease load times which doesn't really do.

Go into the weapons sim file, open the wpn_cannon node. In it's sub node look for "recoil_time." Set it to a lower value for a faster RoF.

ETR3(SS) did a really nice tutorial on how to tweak the guns. Mostly about adding and/or moving them, but also, it's really helpful at explaining SH's file structure (where to find things and what to change), tools required, and general procedures to get started modding. Basically, You just need to change the "reload time = " value in your gun's .sim file. Good luck :salute:
