While not much is explained, it may be interesting to "read" the last post of todays Q&A

this seems to be absolutely great!!! maybe i must rethink my decision not to buy it. if the game is this much modable, as it looks on these pics...its worth a buy!

If these tools are accessible to all users, so in the purchase version of SH5 integrated?

Looks fantastic. Looks like there's quite a lot more modding freedom and tools than I expected :yeah:

It's also nice to see whoever took the screenshots uses the most important modding tool of them all, Notepad++ :haha:

now this is great! Wonderful, all the necessary modding tools are delivered! :yeah:

@Notepad++: will the language file for the syntax highlighting of the SH5 script files also be on the game DVD, or available for download somewhere?

Holy smokes Dan, that looks fantastic. I haven't delved into it, but that is extremely promising.

To explain in easy terms... Imagine you've been sailing on an empty ocean for 2 whole versions. A single merchant here and there, nothing big. You hear in the distance a convoy and expect it to be yet another well defended Tramp Steamer. But when you raise your scope, there's the might Yamato+Bismark+Mississippi with no escort in sight. All dead in the water with engines broken. :D And you have 20 torpedoes. And a sexy nun.

Heh, watch, you'll have to be tethered online to DRM to use the mod tools too. :haha:

edit: Nevermind, i found out it isn't. My sarchasm stands corrected. :O:
