Hey guys,
I am a senior midshipman in my NROTC unit and I had some questions with the editor. My school is kinda dirt poor and can't afford a ship sim so we decided to build our own for our last FEX and it worked rather well using a LAN setup and a scenario I had designed using the editor.

We want to use it again but gear it more towards navigation and maneuvering than shooting at partrol boats (the kids loved it). So here is my question, is it possible to turn on nav lights for the ships so we can do various crossing situations at night?

Second, I was setting up an UNREP mission using an FFG and an AOE. The FFG starts 2000 yards astern of the AOE and sometimes if you cut too close to the AOE on the approach, the AOE "freaks" and rapidly changes course, thus causing you to ram the stern. Is it possible to script the AOE so it just follows a straight path without maneuvering whatsoever?

Can't help you with the first one.

For the second, try setting the AOE to a "transit" tactic (instead of "transit search") and run a script turning collision avoidance off. In theory, that should work. (But I can't guarantee that it will, there are many scripts and flags that don't do what they are supposed to)
