Latest/Greatest Mods for DW

Hi All,

I was thinking of getting back into "Dangerous Waters" and trying my hand at manual TMA again - not that I was ever very good at it.

What are the latest mods for DW? Which mods are the best for realism?

Also is the most recent patch 1.04?

LWAMI (links are on this forum) is very good, version 3.09 is presently available. It's a detail & database mod with loads of great little tweaks. DWX is also popular but I've not tried it.

As for TMA, practice practice practice. It's well worth it once you get it down.

LWAMI is the first mod and been continually updated and it's clean, realistic and well thought off. It's really GREAT.

After that if you want additional playables you can try Alfa Tau which as far as I know is based on LWAMI 3.08 but with more playables

There's the latest DWX with plenty playables, a realistic torpedo doctrine and more challenging ASW warfare along with custom interface but it's not without some bugs understandable as it's a massive supermod.

And yes the most recent patch is 1.04
