GWX 3 Crew Cheers

Been away for a while, but I finally upgraded my GWX from 2.1. I downloaded GWX3 and did a reinstall. Everything seems to be working fine except the crew cheer in the german speech isn't playnig when a ship sinks anymore. the ono_cheer1 and ono_cheer2 files are there and they play in winamp.

Is there another file or setting that determine when these files get played?

The crew will not cheer if you sink a ship in Academy. They only cheer if you sink enemy ship during the war with that nation.
