It seems like a week doesn't go by that I find out about some important mod that we managed to leave out. This time it's Hitman's Optics mod, orginally created for NYGM, here converted by himself to work with GWX.

Well, it came up because somebody PMed me and asked for it. I put it up in case people want it. Of course the new one will be an improvement.:sunny:

can anyone tell me were to dl hitmans gui mod?... seems the ones ive found are not working anymore?... also , any idea when hitmans final version will be finished?

im confused, is there a diffrence between "hitmans optics" & "hitmans gui"?

Huge difference. Hitman's GUI is amazing, and has amazing attention to detail and realism (Hitman really knows his stuff where optics are concerned, not to mention general U-boat technology). It is also the most aesthetically pleasing GUI I have seen yet.

The only thing is that it isn't done yet - I've been beta testing it, and it will be ready soon, he says. In the meantime, the Hitman Optics mod is very good and it was what I was using until I got my hands on the beta of his GUI.

I already use nothing but the beta of his new GUI. The final release is slated to have even more features, and I can't wait!

Thats good to hear Billcar. I must say that I have been absorbed in SHIII since I got back into it about a month ago. Weened myself off of auto targeting & started using Manos' GUI. What a blast! I had no idea how fun it could be to sink a ship w/ such realistic settings. much gratification:yep:

Anyway I am very much in anticipation of Hitman's GUI now, thanks for info:up:

This may be a bit of a moot point, being that Hitman is working on a full GUI and all, but does anybody know of a way to re-enable the "Flaggen" pull-down chart in the periscope view? :hmmm: I really enjoy Hitman's Optics but I REALLY miss having that chart handy... :wah: I've tried editing the menu_1024_768.ini and all I'll managed to accomplish was a CTD. I'd love to have it in game, but at this point I'm ready just to print the chart off and laminate it :-?
