As it looks like we'll all be playing SH3 for some time to come now....
And as a lot of mods seem to conflict on commands.en and cameras.dat then would it be possible to write a sort of "tweak" utility for these two files ?
It would save modders having to release "X_fix_for_Y" patches in order to cater for the ever increasing mod-combos out there. Instead they would release a sort of "tweak file" that allowed their changes to be imported into a central commands.en and cameras.dat file whilst allowing the user to chose whether to enable their "tweaks" on a change by change basis ?
Maybe its because i'm a nutter but I think this would make it a lot easier than having to manually compare files for each mostly undocumented change and having to make calls on whether to merge them or not.....there must be a better way surely ?
Anyway, just sewing seeds...
Cheers, UG
